Restoring hope, dignity, and opportunity across communities in Cameroon.

Bringing Love, Food, and Hope to Over 200 Children in Bamenda

During the festive season, Cameroon Bridge of Hope Community set out with a clear mission: to bring love, support, and hope to vulnerable children who are often overlooked. After weeks of planning, coordination meetings, awareness campaigns, and engaging livestream sessions on TikTok, our community came together to mobilize resources for this special outreach.

Our visit took us to Luc Menorah Orphanage in Bamenda, located in one of the areas deeply affected by the ongoing Anglophone Crisis. Before the visit, we conducted a needs assessment with the orphanage. During our discussion, the founder shared that one of their most urgent challenges was hunger. With over 200 children under their care, including children with special needs, providing consistent food had become a daily struggle.

Moved by this need, Cameroon Bridge of Hope Community tailored the outreach to provide meaningful support. On December 20, 2025, our team visited the orphanage with essential supplies including rice, maize, beans, vegetable oil, palm kernel oil, groundnuts, salt, toiletries, and sweet drinks. We also donated clothing, baby beds, toys, and financial support to help with ongoing care.

Beyond the supplies, we prepared and served cooked meals for the children. The day was filled with laughter, singing, dancing, and moments of genuine joy. It was more than an outreach; it was a beautiful reminder that every child deserves love, dignity, and the chance to experience happiness.

This visit reminded us that hope can be restored when people come together with compassion and purpose.

Your support can help us continue reaching vulnerable children with food, care, and hope. Stand with us today.
